The ‘Coming Home to the Galilee’ initiative was launched by residents of the Upper Galilee with the goal of mapping and addressing the needs of those residents choosing to return home to the border communities across the Galilee region in northern Israel. The initiative also seeks to pool resources for the communities that remained and did not evacuate, while mobilizing volunteers from across the country to bring light and hope to the tens of thousands of northern residents whose lives have been shattered, as well as to those preparing to return.
The Galila Foundation supports and accompanies this project, assisting in the return of thousands of residents to their homes.
