The Galilee region is home to a rich mosaic of diverse communities, each contributing to the region’s unique human tapestry. At the Galila Foundation, we support these communities by promoting initiatives and projects that are particularly crafted to their specific needs and distinct character. Each project is carried out in close collaboration with local stakeholders to ensure the widest possible benefit for the community.
Among our wide-ranging activities:
- Resilience programs in education across Galilee regional clusters (Western Galilee, Eastern Galilee, Kinneret and Valley Regions, Beit HaKerem)
- Commemoration projects
- Renovation of community infrastructure & public buildings
- Support for the Druze community
- Rehabilitation of gardens and playgrounds
- Collaboration with regional community centers (“Matnasim”)
- Establishment of “Imagine Labs” for communal trauma-therapy
- The “Restart” initiative boosting Galilee tourism
- Community Leadership development programs
