Galila serves as a platform for the provision of diverse educational initiatives in the Galilee, from early childhood through leadership programs for youth and adults. Together with additional partners and earmarked donations, our support platform enables organizations to help Galilee residents receive and provide quality education for future generations, across a spectrum of diverse fields and educational activities.
Meitar School
A special education school providing solutions for children aged 7-15 from the entire northern district who are coping with complex mental issues such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and some who have been through psychiatric hospitalization. The school operates extended hours including during holidays and vacations.
Keshet School
The elementary school of Kfar Veradim, which advocates the educational approach of “educate the child according to his way” and integrates children with diverse needs. The Galila Foundation serves as a platform for support for renewal and development programs in the school.
Amirim School
The middle and high schools of Kfar Veradim, encourages excellence in all areas of learning, while providing innovative learning tools. The Galila Foundation serves as a platform for support for the renewal and development of the school.
Ofek School
This year, the Galila Foundation funded the establishment of a photography laboratory at Ofek Educational Center in Kibbutz Evron, in the Western Galilee. The new laboratory will allow students coming to the school from all over the Western Galilee, to enjoy a new formal educational curriculum. The establishment of the laboratory was made possible thanks to a donation to Galila by the Western Galilee based ‘Milouot’ Company.
Early Childhood Education in Ma’alot
Support for diverse programs in early childhood in the city of Ma’alot. Training for kindergarten teachers, pedagogical guidance, enrichment classes, community garden, and more.
Safed College
Providing scholarships to students serving in the reserves and to Druze female students who performed national service or served in the IDF.
Korczak Initiative
“The Korczak Center for Education” in the spirit of Janusz Korczak and Stefania Wilczyńska, is a social-educational project aimed at instilling their humanistic-democratic-dialogic legacy in various social and educational platforms, for educators, parents, and children.
Journey to the Horizon
A leadership program for the Druze community – an empowerment program for young Druze students after military service, through which they receive lectures that help them choose their professional and academic path, for integration into Israeli society and civic contribution.
