Renovation of “Tavor” club house in Kiryat Bialik

“Tabor” Club house is a warm home which acts as a replacement of a home to 15 children aged 6-12. The children all come from families which dysfunction, that can’t provide the children with a safe, secure and normative home. The children come to the club right after school, get a loving hug from the caregivers and a hot meal, cooked for them every day (for some of them this is their only meal). At the end of the meal the children are available for preparing homework, playing games and have enrichment activities.

The building where the club is located is an old neighborhood bomb shelter where equipment is missing and outdated. Galila Foundation in collaboration with HOT Foundation has completed renovating the club and making it a welcoming and loving home to these children who so need a warm corner at the end of the day.

This is the third club that has gone through such a massive overhaul in Kiryat Bialik and we thank our partners: HOT Foundation and the city of Kiryat Bialik, which enabled the project to take place.
