A special school for kids and teens undergoing psychiatric treatment at the Ziv Medical Center in Zefat, provides these troubled children with a purpose-designed learning center, so that they can simultaneously continue both treatment for various disorders including anorexia etc. as well as continuing with their formal education.
These medical conditions of these youngsters are quite severe, and they are treated at the hospital in a secure unit – for their own safety. With a miniscule operation budget, the staff work wonders to help these kids to maintain their levels of education – particularly in the primary school subjects i.e. language, math etc.
Galila supports this special school with a grant that enables to provide more for these troubled and most deserving children.
