The establishment of a playground at “Meitar” school for children with special need.
Galila foundation is pleased to announce that recently have completed the construction of a playground in the regional school “Meitar” located in Moshav Bustan Hagalil. Meitar School is a special school for students from all over the North who come there every day. Due to the unique school, which has about 60 students ages 7-15 it was specially created for children with mental disorders who are not able to integrate into the mainstream education, we have built a playground in full compliance to the schoolchildren, who spend many hours allowing them pleasure and satisfaction during breaks and various activities school. The yard facilities construction project was done in collaboration with the school board and the engineering department of Mate Asher Regional Council. The establishment of the playground was made possible by a donation from an anonymous donor and Galila Foundation is proud to continue helping such educational projects.
