As part of Galila’s agenda – creating a better future for the citizens in the north of Israel – we initiated the construction of two children’s playgrounds, one in the village of Rameh and one in the village of Beit Jann in the Western Galilee’s Druze communities.
With the support of a designated contribution from a US-based foundation, we reached out to the village councils, who in turn designated available sites for the project and supervised their construction until completion.
This summer we marked the grand opening of the playgrounds with a heart-warming ceremony, during which the young children enjoyed playing in the new and shaded playground facilities.
