The ‘Knafayim’ Summer Activity
This program is aimed at 30 kids with special needs and/or physically and/or mentally-challenged situation, coming from the rural Eastern Galilee communities in the Merom Hagalil region. Initiated by the regional community center social workers, this summer activity ensures that these children will be able to participate in specially-designed program including, run by a dedicated group of staff and counselors – all on a voluntary basis.
The activities for these special children included hikes in the Galilee, art workshops, day trips to museums and many other fun-orientated events during the month of August. Galila has proudly supported this meaningful program since it began three years ago.
