Galila Foundation joined the new guard in the activities of exposure and volunteer days of youth at the New Guard educational activity farm. The aim of the program is to expose the youth from the schools in the north to the activity of the New Guard association through educational volunteer activities that strengthen their Zionist identity and the connection to the Galilee land.
In the academic year of 2016-2017, Galila foundation funded the participation of about 90 groups and a total of about 5,000 trainees who volunteered and experimented with working the land, while learning about the values of Zionism and the importance of an agricultural settlement in the Galilee.
Galila foundation welcomes the valuable and important partnership with the New Guard association and will continue to cooperate with the organizations in order to enable as many young people from the North to know their home as well as the important work of the New Guard and the farmers in the north.
